Krishi Vigyan Kendra, wyra is conducting awareness programmes to farmers as part of the ongoing Khet Bachao Abhiyan 2026 in Khammam district that aimed to equip farmers with practical, field-based knowledge to encourage on sustainable agricultural decision-making. This programme emphasis on integrated nutrient management and encouraged farmers to adopt Eco-friendly agricultural practices such as green manuring, Growing pulse crops, Vermicomposting and the use of Biofertilizers including Azotobacter, Azospirlium and VAM etc. The participants were also informed about practices in improving soil fertility, enhancing crop productivity, reducing input costs, and promoting environmental sustainability.
