Warangal organized a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan awareness rally conducted

The NSS Unit of Agricultural College, Warangal organized a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan awareness rally conducted on 25.07.2026 at Paidipally Village, Warangal District to educate the public on the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, addiction-free life. The rally witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 86 NSS volunteers, who carried awareness placards and raised slogans promoting a drug-free society.

The programme was attended by Dr. V. Ravender Naik, Associate Dean, NSS Programme Officers Dr. B. Raju, Asst. Prof (SSAC) and Smt. K. Gopika, Asst. Prof (Pl. Path.) Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, Assistant Professor (Agricultural Extension); and other teaching staff. The rally received an encouraging response from the local community, with village youth actively joining the campaign, making the programme more impactful and successful. The event strengthened awareness among the villagers about the ill effects of substance abuse and reinforced the collective responsibility of students and the community in building a Nasha Mukt Bharat.
