Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam” was celebrated at Agricultural College, Jagtial, on 17.09.2026

The “Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam” was celebrated at Agricultural College, Jagtial, on 17.09.2026 with due solemnity and patriotic spirit, in accordance with the instructions of the Government of Telangana and Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University.

 The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Dr. G. Veeranna, In-charge Associate Dean, followed by the National Anthem.

On the occasion, students actively participated in the programme and delivered speeches highlighting the significance of Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam, the historical importance of 17th September, and the progress of Telangana. 

Dr. G. Veeranna, In-charge Associate Dean, addressed the gathering and explained the significance of Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam. He emphasized the importance of democratic values, responsible citizenship, social harmony and the role of students in contributing to the development of Telangana. He also encouraged the students to uphold the values of unity, discipline and public responsibility.

Dr. V. Ratnakar, OISA, coordinated the programme. Teaching, non-teaching staff and students of the College participated in the celebrations.

The programme concluded with a sense of patriotism and commitment towards the development of Telangana and the nation.
