TRVK, Siddipet Organised Training cum awareness programme on Judicious use of fertilizer in Paddy on 30.06.2026 at Chinnakodur (V&M), Siddipet District. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator & Scientist (CP), TRVK, Siddipet explained about nutrient management to be followed in paddy based on the soil test and advised the farmers to go for testing their soils for adopting soil test based fertilizers application ultimately conscious use of fertilizers. Efficient use of plant nutrients through chemical fertilizers and organic manures is a good means for increasing productivity and profitability of cotton and paddy at the same time cost of fertilizers has gone up and their optimal use is required.  In this programme Dr. Shanthalakshmi, Principal Scientist, ICAR, IIOR, explained importance of seed treatment, Dr. G. D. Sathish Kumar, Principal Scientist, IIOR, Hyderabad explained about Soil testing for soil test based fertilizer application and make available biofertilizers (Azospirillium and PGPR) for application in farmers field and Dr. Shakthivel, ICAR, IIOR, Scientist, Dr. D. Swetha, Scientist, ARS, Tornala explained about green manuring and reduced application of fertilizers in paddy and Dr. G. Neelima, scientist, ARS, Tornala explained about PJTAU varieties and its availability, MAO-Jayanth Kumar, AEO-Srikanth, FPO Chairman Sri. Venkat Reddy, FPO Directors and members, Sarpanches from various villages and 60 farmers have participated.
