TRVK, Siddipet attended Rythu Vediakallo Vithana Mela” at Mittapally Rythu vedika, Siddipet on 27.07.2026. The meeting was inaugurated by Sri. K. Hymavathi, District Collector and Magistrate, Siddipet district urged farmers to take up ID crops rather than paddy and assured the farmers regarding purchase of the diversified crops grown by the farmers. Later, District Agriculture Officer Sri. Mallaiah explained current rainfall and crop situation in the district, District Horticulture officer, Smt. Suvarna explained the subsidies available for growing vegetables and oil palm, Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator & Scientist (CP), TRVK, Siddipet explained about present situation, forecast of the season, contingency plan and various alternate crops to be grown economically in Siddipet district and crop wise water budgeting. Further discussed on District-specific crop management practices, moisture conservation measures, pest advisories and contingency crop recommendations. At vittana mela TRVK, Siddipet displayed pulses (Redgram, Green gram, Black gram, horse gram), Millets (Jowar, Ragi, Bajra, Korra), Oilseeds (Sunflower, Sesamum, Castor) etc, in this programme MPDO-Martin Luthor, ATMA committee chairman P. Gopi krishna, MAO-Srinath, Siddipet rural AEOs, Mittapally sarpanch Ch. Srinivas and 60 farmers has participated.
