Palem – Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika (99 Days Action Plan) – Rythu Sadassu on Crop Diversification & Oil Palm Area Expansion

Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, participated as a resource person and created awareness on alternative crops to paddy. He highlighted oil palm as a newly emerging crop that is giving economically viable yields in our zone. He suggested fertigation and IPM practices for successful crop cultivation. He also provided insights on suitable large-scale vegetable crops such as onion, chilli, crucifer crops, and cucurbits for farmers. In this programme Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, Dr. M. Lakshman, HO, Kollapur, Kishnayya, HO, Weepanagandla, Chinna Hussain, ADA, Kollapur, Sk. Rahim Pasha, Vice Chairman, Kollapur Municipality, along with other councilors, 352 Farmers 20 Department Officials and 10Public Representatives were participated.
