Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” conducted at Agricultural College
The NSS Unit of Agricultural College, Warangal organized a pledge on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan programme to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
A total of 116 students, along with all the teaching staff, participated in the programme. As part of the event, the NSS Programme Officers, Dr. B. Raju, Assistant Professor (SSAC) and Smt. K. Gopika, Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology), administered the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge. All the students and staff members took the pledge, reaffirming their commitment towards building a drug-free society.
The Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Warangal, Dr. V. Ravinder Naik, addressed the gathering and motivated the students by highlighting the importance of staying away from drugs and other addictive substances. He encouraged the students to adopt healthy habits, make responsible life choices and actively spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse among their peers and the community.
The programme concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from students and staff, contributing to the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and promoting a healthy, drug-free environment on the campus.
