PJTSAU traces its roots to 1955, when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan inaugurated the Agricultural College at Rajendranagar. It evolved into APAU in 1964 and was later restructured as PJTSAU in 2014 after state bifurcation.

The Knowledge Management Centre, powered by KOHA, serves as a modern academic hub—equipped to meet the evolving needs of students and researchers in the digital age.
