Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a “Rythu Mungitlo Shastravethalu” farmer awareness programme at Tagada Village, Charla Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 22.05.2026. In this programme Dr. T. Bharath, Senior Scientist & Head, explained the significance of crop diversification in saving water and reducing fertilizer usage. He also highlighted the importance of natural farming, organic farming, suitable paddy varieties for vanakalam and soil test–based fertilizer application in different crops.also created campaign on balanced use of fertilizer and briefed the farmers on the importance of soil health management and emphasized the need to utilize scientists’ advice for improving productivity. Sri B. Shiva, Scientist (Horticulture), explained Integrated Crop Management practices in various horticultural crops and the benefits of crop diversification with horticulture.
