Field visit by TG Residential School and Jr. College Students to KVK

Field visit by TG Residential School and Jr. College Students to KVK, Wyra on 18.09.2026: A total of 311 students accompanied by 5 staff members visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra on 18th September 2026 to KVK Wyra. Dr. T. Pavani, Senior Scientist and Head (i/c) explained about the KVK activities and importance of farming in todays life.

Smt. P.S.M. Phanisri, SMS (Extension) showed the students KVK farm which include Demo units, cotton and paddy minikits, paddy seed production plots, natural and organic farming plots, poly house, shade net, vermicompost unit. Smt. P. Saraswathi (Farm Manager) explained about the farm activities taken regularly during the crop period.

Later students visited mini soil testing lab, information center and Rythu Sikshana bhavan and seed processing unit.  Smt. P.S.M. Phanisri, SMS (Extension) explained about natural farming and Organic farming and its importance. Dr. T. Pavani explained the importance of IPM in present situation and various IPM practices.
