Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a Rythu Mungitlo Shashtravethalu farmer awareness programme

Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a Rythu Mungitlo Shashtravethalu farmer awareness programme at Chunchupally Rythu Vedika, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 04.05.2026. On this occasion, Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, Honourable Member of Legislative Assembly, Kothagudem constituency, addressed the farmers and emphasized the importance of effectively utilizing the Rythu Mungitlo Shashtravethalu programme. He advised farmers to follow the recommendations and advisories given by KVK scientists to enhance crop productivity. Sri V. Baburao explained about the Rythu Varothavalu programme, soil health cards, and their practical benefits in improving soil fertility and crop yields. Dr. T. Bharath, Senior Scientist & Head, elaborated on crop diversification, natural farming practices, and the importance of soil test-based fertilizer application for achieving sustainable agriculture.

The programme was attended by several dignitaries including Sri Ganesh, Mayor; Smt. Lalithakumari, Deputy Mayor; Sri Babu, Joint Director (Horticulture); Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, Scientist (Extension); along with officials such as Sri J. Kishore (DHSO), Sri Sudhakar Babu (ADA), Sri Srinivasa Rao (DCO), Smt. Sunandhini (MPDO), MRO, Smt. Rajeswari (AO), Sarpanches, DEASI dealers, farmers, public representatives, and other stakeholders. A large number of 125 farmers actively participated in the programme and benefited from the expert guidance provided by scientists and officials.
