As per the University circular, in view of Birth Anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the college has organized various sports and games competitions from 27th to 29th August, 2026 and with the theme “Kelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat”.
DAY-WISE PROGRAMME
Day 1 – 27.08.2026
The inaugural matches were conducted in the presence of Associate Dean, OIAM and OISA and other teaching and non teaching staff.
- Volleyball (Outdoor) – for Boys & Girls
- Shuttle Badminton (Outdoor) – for Boys & Girls
- Carrom (Indoor) – for Boys & Girls
- Chess (Indoor) – for Boys & Girls
Day 2 – 28.08.2026
- Tennikoit Competition for Girls
- Shot Put Competition for Girls
- Chess Final – Boys
- Shuttle Final – Boys
Day 3 – 29.08.2026
- Shot Put Competition for Boys
- Finals of Carrom & Chess
As part of “Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein”, Tug of War competition for all students and staff – conducted in forenoon.
In afternoon Session, a special valedictory programme was organized to pay tribute to Major Dhyan Chand. His contribution to Indian sports was explained to students.
Associate Dean, Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Teaching and non teaching staff and students spoke about the importance of National sports day and contributions of Major Dhyan Chand for the sports and games. Followed by Prize Distribution to all the winners and refreshments were provided to all students and staff.
The programme was successfully completed with active participation of all teaching, non-teaching staff and students.
Day 4 – 30.08.2026:
- Shuttle game is conducted for Boys and Girls separately.
