Human Development & Family Studies

The postgraduate programme in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) offers advanced training in theories and dynamics of human development, assessment techniques, early childhood development, gender issues, guidance and counselling, and the management of differently abled individuals.

    I Sushma Kiran CHM/2022-12 , Being a part of the PJTAU-HDFS department was a transformative journey that enriched my understanding of human development through interdisciplinary coursework, fieldwork, and research; provided hands-on experience with NGOs and social organizations; and helped me to develop strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills through active participation in departmental activities, guest lectures and workshops broadened my perspective on various career paths.

    Myself Akhila Harivaram CHM/2022-11, completed my postgraduation during the period of 2022-2024 in the department of human development and family studies, PJTAU. It was a great exposure for me, learned lot of things and improved many skills. I am deeply grateful for my guide for her support and guidance throughout my research. I have gained deep understanding about curriculum, filed visits, family dynamics, Human growth, and behaviour across the life span. I have developed a set of academic and practical skills.
