Institutional Linkages
The office of the Director, International Programmes (IP) plays a vital role in the University in handling all the collaborations and linkages with respect to National and International higher education Institutions for the establishing collaborations in education and research programs. The higher education’s University looks beyond traditional R&D metrics and engages with private R&D organizations to promote research that meets the present-day demands in agriculture. It also facilitate faculty and student exchange programmes through joint research / trainings and Joint / Dual degree programmes respectively.
The team at PJTAU encourages national and international collaborations to explore new horizons arising from global, national, regional, and domestic-level innovations and discoveries that influence the agricultural sector. The University promotes the process of actively partnering with international universities and organizations to effectively utilize and apply the University’s knowledge, resources, and expertise to mutually address the needs and problems faced by the global society.
Objectives
- Facilitate collaborative faculty and student exchange and research to address issues and problems of global significance.
- Extend the University’s international engagement through research programs designed in collaboration with faculty from international organizations, institutions.
- Enhance access to world-wide information through extensive resources as well as the exchange of print and electronic media through international networks.
- Build strong and effective international alumni network to promote international research, education and related goals of the university.

International Linkages
To respond to the rapidly changing global environment, the Office of the Director, International Programmes, PJTAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, serves as an internal and external liaison for the University, providing assistance to faculty, administrators, and students in enhancing their ability to pursue and develop international activities and initiatives. Till date the University has entered 9 MoU / MoA with reputed International Universities and Institutions.
It promotes the process of actively partnering with international universities and organizations to effectively utilize and apply the University’s knowledge, resources, and expertise to mutually address the needs and problems facing the global society.
Objectives
It extends itself globally through international agreements, which are facilitated through the Director, International Programmes. International agreements made between PJTAU and other international institutions provide for the reciprocal exchange of students and general collaboration on faculty visits, academic interchange, and other matters of mutual interest.
