Waranagal conducted a interface meeting on effect of El Nino situation on sugarcane crop growth

The Farmer – Scientist- Sugar Industry interface meeting on effect of El Nino situation on sugarcane crop growth was organised on 07.09.2026 at farmers field near Zaheerabad under the chairmanship of Dr Sreedhar, Associate Director of Research, RARS, CTZ, Waranagal. Scientists of ARS, Basanthpur and RS & RRS, Rudrur, Industry officials from Ganapathi Sugars, Sangareddy, Kakatiya Sugars, Kallur, Gayatri Sugars, Kamareddy, NSL Krishnaveni Sugars, Kothakota, Madhucon Sugars, Khammam, Godavari Ganga Agro Products Pvt Ltd, Matur and farmers were participated in this programme. Discussed research & extension gaps on the problems faced by farmers & industry in view of El Nino.
