Warangal conducted a Health Awareness Programme on Common Skin Diseases among Students

Under the guidance of Dr. V. Ravinder Naik, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Warangal, a health awareness programme was conducted at the Agricultural College, Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University, Arepally, to create awareness among students about health and hygiene. Dr. Abdul Juned Khan, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre (PHC), Paidipally, attended the programme as the guest speaker.

On this occasion, Dr. Abdul Juned Khan addressed the students on personal hygiene, healthy habits, and prevention of common infections. He particularly explained common skin diseases among students, including fungal infections and scabies. He advised the students to maintain proper skin hygiene, keep the skin clean and dry, avoid sharing personal belongings such as towels, clothes and combs, and seek timely medical attention whenever skin-related problems occur.

The main objective of the programme was to promote healthy hygiene practices among students, create awareness about disease prevention, and encourage a healthy lifestyle. College staff Dr.N.Kishore Kumar, Assistant Professor & Dr. I. Shakuntala Devi, Assistant Professor and students participated in the programme and contributed to its success.
