Birthday Anniversary of “Acharya Kothapalli Jayashankar” at APT Jammikunta

Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar Jayanthi was celebrated at Agricultural polytechnic  Jammikunta on 06-08-2026 to commemorate 92nd birth anniversary. The program was started with  garlanding of the portrait of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar’s by Dr.G. Swathi, Principal I/c.  She highlighted his life, his invaluable contribution to the Telangana movement, his distinguished  service as an educationist and economist and his lifelong commitment to social justice and  regional development. Essay writing and elocution competitions were conducted for diploma  students to create awareness about the life, ideals and contributions of Prof. Jayashankar. Prizes  were distributed to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performance. Later, all teaching  and non-teaching staff and students paid floral tributes.
