Rythu Nestham Live video conference Programme (Episode-97 Date: 7-7-2026)

The 97th episode of the ‘Rythu Nestham’ Live Video Conference was conducted on       7-7-2026 from 10-00 to 11-30 AM at the Electronic Wing Studio, ARI, Rajendranagar. The programme started with playing videos i.e Rythu Nestham song, PJTAU YouTube promo, Urea booking App etc.  Prof. Aldas Janaiah ,Vice Chancellor, PJTAU  explained about crop diversification instead of continuous Rice cultivation for sustainable farm income.                Dr.B.Laxmi Prasanna, Scientist [Breeding] , Rice Research Unit, R’nagar briefed about importance of Fine grain rice varieties suggested by Telangana Govt. for Kharif season. Later Sri.Venkat Reddy PPO CIPMC explained about use of National pest surveillance system [NPSS] mobile App followed by Progressive farmer Sri B.Yadagiri ,Nalgonda District shared about success of HDPS cotton cultivation.

The programme was  presided over by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist (Agricultural Extension) and Coordinator, Electronic Wing. Officials from the Directorate of Agriculture and other agriculture and allied departments participated in the event. Around  40,000 farmers from 1,600 Rythu Vedikas across the state attended the programme.
