Telangana Rythu Vigyan Kendra, Siddipet has organized training programme on Balanced fertilizer and soil test based fertilizer application in Paddy, Cotton and Maize on 03.06.2026 at Balwanthapur (V), Dubbaka (M), Siddipet District. The programme was started with welcome address by MAO-Priyadarshini regarding the cropped area and contingency crops for Dubbaka mandal. Later, Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator explained about nutrient management to be followed in cotton and maize based on the soil test and advised the farmers to go for testing the their soils for adopting soil test based fertilizers application ultimately conscious use of fertilizers. Efficient use of plant nutrients through chemical fertilizers and organic manures is a good means for increasing productivity and profitability of cotton and paddy at the same time cost of fertilizers has gone up and their optimal use is required. Later village sarpanch K. Kanakavva urged the farmers to grow green manure crops preceding to paddy. In this programme, AEO-K. Sandhya, Panchayath secretary G. Sathish and 54 No.s of progressive farmers have attended.
