Telangana Formation day celebrations at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla

Telangana Formation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Babu Jagjivan Ram Agricultural College, Sircilla, on 02 June 2026.

The programme commenced with floral tributes paid to the Telangana ideologue, Professor Jayashankar Garu, by the staff and students. This was followed by the Dr. S. Upendhar, Associate Dean, unfurled of the National Flag. 

Addressing the gathering, Dr. S. Upendhar highlighted the significance of Telangana Formation Day and recalled the sacrifices made by the Telangana martyrs in achieving statehood. He encouraged the students to contribute to the overall development of Telangana by being disciplined, dedicated, and hardworking individuals.

Dr. P. Madhukar Rao, Assistant Professor and Officer In-charge of Students Activities (OISA), along with other teaching faculty members, also addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of the occasion.

The celebration witnessed the active participation of all students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff of Babu Jagjivan Ram Agricultural College, Sircilla. The programme concluded with the distribution of refreshments to all participants.
