Agriculture College, Adilabad organized Environmental awareness through Grain art & Drawing competitions
On 25th April 2026, faculty coordinator Dr. G. Manjulatha, Professor (Agronomy) & OISA organized an engaging and eco-friendly competition on Grain Art and Drawing for the students under Green Club. The main objective of this activity was to promote creativity, environmental awareness, and the significance of agricultural produce in daily life and encouraged students to understand the importance of sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The students actively participated and expressed their innovative ideas through art.
The Students participated in Grain art with the theme of “Save Planet” and made designs using natural material grains like millets, green gram, and black gram to create beautiful and meaningful artworks. The themes mainly focused on environmental protection, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and climate action. In addition to grain art, students also participated in drawing activities where they illustrated concepts related to nature, farming, and green initiatives with the theme on “3R’s (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) for Greener Future”
The students displayed great enthusiasm and creativity in arranging grains into artistic patterns and conveying strong environmental messages through their drawings. This activity helped them to connect agriculture with art and understand the value of natural resources in a creative way.
The presence and encouragement of the Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Adilabad and all teaching faculty made the program more inspiring and successful. The event concluded with appreciation and distribution of prizes for all participants, highlighting their efforts and creativity. Overall, the activity was highly successful in promoting environmental consciousness and artistic skills among students.
