Agricultural College, Warangal celebrated 10th College Day on 22nd April, 2026

The 10th College Day celebrations were organised at the College of Agriculture, Warangal on 22nd April, 2026. Chief Guest Shri K. Varun Reddy Garu, Chairman and Managing Director of TGNPDCL addressed virtually, informing the role of Agricultural students in societal development, schemes implemented by state and central governments, and the importance of organic farming in environmental conservation. Subsequently, Dr.R.Uma Reddy Garu, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal has graced the occasion as guest of honour  and spoke to the students and emphasized that along with education, discipline and research plays a crucial role in agricultural development, and highlighted new things students must learn in line with changes brought by artificial intelligence in Agriculture. Smt. G. Anuradha Garu, District Agricultural Officer (D.A.O.), Warangal, spoke about the role of students in agriculture and the necessity of students studying Agriculture in higher education and soil health conservation. 

Dr. V. Ravinder Naik, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Warangal presented the Annual report (2025-26) of Agricultural College, Warangal, detailing the college’s achievements. He shared the information about students who excelled in education, sports, and cultural programs, as well as teachers’ accomplishments. On the occasion of College Day, prizes were awarded for the sports competitions conducted. Following that, cultural programs performed by students viz, singing, dancing, performing skits captivated the faculty and students. All the faculty, students, alumni of Agricultural College, Warangal, and parents participated in large numbers, making the College Day celebrations a success. The campus witnessed a festive atmosphere with colourful performances of the students.
