Students – Expert Interaction on “Cyber Security and Digital Detoxification – An Essential aspects for career building” organized by Competitive Examination Club

A Students – Expert Interaction programme on “Cyber Security and Digital Detoxification – An Essential Aspects for Career Building” was organized by Competitive Examination Club, Agricultural College, Adilabad on 18.04.2026. At the outset, Dr. Kasbe Sudhanshu Sudhakar, Assistant Professor (Agronomy), Officer I/C Competitive Club, welcomed and introduced the Cyber Security Expert Er. Dileep Kumar, DXC Technology, UAE. During his interaction with the students, he explained in detail the different modes of cyber crimes, frauds and their prospective implications on our personal as well as professional life. He, highlighted important ways to prevent cyber crimes and frauds through our smart devices. It was emphasized that digital addictions are very harmful and unproductive in our lives especially for the students who are aspiring to achieve higher goals. Suggestions on the methods of Digital Detoxification were insisted.

Students and faculty expressed their experiences with the cyber security issues. Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Associate Dean addressed the gathering with an appeal to be vigilant while using electronic smart gadgets to avoid adverse impacts of cyber security issues. 

Ms. K. Sushma, II year B.Sc (Hons.) Ag. student anchored the programme while Mr. S. Ranjith, III year B.Sc (Hons.) Ag. student expressed vote of thanks to end the programme.

Professors Dr. G. Manjulatha, Dr. M. Sunil Kumar, Dr. D. Kumara Swamy, Non-teaching staff and college students participated in this program.
