Nostalgic Retro Day Celebrations at Agricultural College

To reminisce the nostalgia for the good old days, the Agricultural College, Warangal has celebrated Retro Day on 02.04.2026 by the Cultural Club. The event commenced with an inaugural address by the Associate Dean, Dr. V. Ravinder Naik, who delivered an inspiring speech and appreciated the initiative by cultural/Celebrations club in-charge Smt. K. Gopika Assistant Professor (Pl. Path.)

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, who attended in retro attire, adding vibrancy and authenticity to the celebration. Various cultural performances were presented, including dances and singing of old songs, which created a nostalgic atmosphere. A Mahabharatam skit with a meaningful message was also performed and was well appreciated by the audience. In addition, students actively participated in ramp walks, showcasing different retro styles.

The programme concluded successfully with the active involvement and coordination of all participants, making the event memorable and grand.
