Organized a Three-Day Faculty Development Training Programme scheduled from March 20th to 22nd, 2025 by C-HRD Inaugurated at PJTAU.

The Centre for Human Resource Development (C-HRD), Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU), inaugurated a three-day training programme on "Faculty Development Towards Professional Excellence" on March 20, 2025. The programme, scheduled from March 20th to 22nd, 2025, aims to enhance the professional competencies of faculty members through structured training sessions. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. G.E. Ch. Vidya Sagar, Registrar, PJTAU, as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. K. Jhansi Rani, Dean of Agriculture, and Dr. K. B. Eswari, Dean of PG Studies, as Guests of Honor. In his inaugural address, Dr. G.E. Ch. Vidya Sagar emphasized the significance of punctuality and honesty as fundamental attributes for professional success. He also highlighted Financial management as a crucial skill for achieving stability and growth in life. Dr. K. Jhansi Rani provided insights into the genesis of the Centre for HRD and underscored the relevance of faculty development programmes in the present academic scenario. She appreciated the organizing team for their meticulous planning and execution of the event. Addressing the gathering, Dr. K. B. Eswari stressed the importance of training skills for faculty, explaining how competency-building can transform educators into effective trainers. To mark the occasion, the training brochure was formally released by the dignitaries. Earlier, Dr. K. Suresh, Director, Centre for HRD, welcomed the dignitaries onto the dais and provided an overview of the training programme’s objectives, structure, and expected outcomes. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony by the esteemed guests. The inaugural session concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Preethi, Professor and Coordinator of the Programme. This Faculty Development Programme is being attended by 40 faculty members from various colleges of PJTAU across Telangana. Over the course of three days, the training will feature 12 insightful sessions, covering a wide range of competencies essential for faculty excellence. The sessions are being conducted at the University Auditorium, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. With an expert lineup of speakers and an interactive approach, the programme promises to be an enriching experience, equipping faculty members with advanced teaching methodologies, leadership skills, and innovative pedagogical techniques to excel in their professional roles.
