P&M Cell

The Planning and Monitoring Cell is headed by the Director (Planning and Monitoring), functioning under PJTAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, with the objectives of planning, monitoring and evaluation of various Research and developmental programmes and activities of the University.

The Cell helps in preparing the outcome budget of the University prior to the budget session of the Legislative Assembly every year.  It assesses and monitors the demand for human resources required to carry out Teaching, Research and Extension activities of the University. It also provides the information pertaining to the PJTAU to the State Legislative Assembly through the address given by Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and the Budget Speech of the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Government of Telangana. 

The Cell also attends to preparation of Annual Report of the University; maintenance and upgradation of human resource data base of the University; collection, compilation and submission of data and information in various formats to different agencies within the country and outside; furnishing information required by other statutory bodies; preparation of the Convocation Report of the Vice-Chancellor reflecting the achievements and objectives of the University; submission of monthly reports of the PJTAU to the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and the Chancellor of the University, compilation and preparation of significant events of the PJTAU to be presented at the Meetings of Board of Management, PJTAU, etc. It also acts as the liaison office between the University and other Government and Non-Government Institutions.

The Director, Planning and Monitoring acts as the Transparency Officer of University under the RTI Act 2005 and oversees the implementation of Section (4) obligations of RTI Act, 2005 and maintains due transparency in implementation of the Act.
