    Academic Council

    The Academic Council, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, is the principal body responsible for formulating, implementing, and monitoring all the academic programmes of the university. The council includes all Deans, Directors, and University Heads of various departments from the three faculties, along with professors of the university. In addition, the council comprises four members nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, ten members co-opted by the Academic Council, and two members from the Board of Management, who provide advice based on their experience. Eminent academicians from other institutions are also nominated as members of the Academic Council by the respective Deans of the faculties concerned.
