Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Palem organized Pre Kharif Campaign as a part of Rythu Mungitlo Shastravethalu and Viksith Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan programme at Primary School, Thippapur village, Uppununthala Mandal, Nagarkurnool District on 10.06.2025. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy PC, KVK, Palem highlighted the major themes of the programme viz., Reducing the cost of cultivation by reducing the urea usage in various crops, best management practices in paddy nurseries, cotton and maize. Stressed upon the right usage of the fertilizers in different crops and crop diversification. Dr. O. Shaila, SMS (PP) KVK, Palem emphasized on the integrated pests and diseases management practices in kharif crops stressed upon the judicious usage of the pesticides. Dr. B. Rajashelar, SMS (Agrl Extn) explained the importance of the programme and educated the university novel technologies. A total of 55 farmers, KVK staff, department of agriculture staff, students were participated.
