Facilities
At PJTAU, student life extends well beyond academic learning and evolves into a vibrant campus experience that stays with students for a lifetime. Across all campuses, the university offers comfortable and well-equipped hostels, wholesome food through hygienic mess facilities, and dedicated residential support for international students. A modern sports complex and college-level gymnasia encourage an active lifestyle and foster a spirit of healthy competition.
The university’s cultural calendar is equally engaging, featuring celebrations, festivals, national and agricultural observances, and a variety of student clubs in creative arts, environmental stewardship, and campus radio. These initiatives help learners discover their interests and build lasting friendships.
Comprehensive health services, strong anti-ragging measures, grievance redressal mechanisms, and women’s protection systems ensure a safe and supportive environment. Students also participate in meaningful extension activities that connect them with farming communities and real-world agricultural challenges. Together, these features create a lively and nurturing atmosphere that blends learning, wellbeing, recreation, and community engagement, making campus life at PJTAU truly enriching and memorable.
Hostel Facilities
Most students joining the colleges of the University opt to stay in hostels, as a majority of them come from rural backgrounds. All hostels are provided with good boarding and lodging facilities. For overseas students, international hostels with the necessary amenities are available.
Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls on each campus. Undergraduate students share rooms on a twin-sharing basis, while postgraduate students are provided with single rooms. The hostels are also equipped with indoor games and sports facilities.
All hostels are well maintained and include reading rooms, TV halls, internet and Wi-Fi facilities, dining halls, solar heating systems, water purification plants, and gymnasium facilities. The food provided to the inmates is hygienic and nutritious, monitored regularly, and the mess is managed by student representatives.
