➔ Dr.G.Manjulatha , Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Head  received Best oral presentation award in  National Conference on “Natural farming systems and biodiversity conservation under changing climate scenario” during December 5–7, 2022 at College of Agriculture, (Central Agricultural University, Imphal) Kydemkulai, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya.

➔ ARS, Tandur along with Yalal Farmers Producer Company Ltd facilitated in getting Geographical Indication for Tandur Redgram – GI Registry, Chennai (Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India) – Geographical Indication Tag granted to Tandur Redgram – First Agricultural Commodity to claim GI Tag from Telangana.

➔ Dr.D.Sravani, Scientist (Pl.Br)  received Best oral presentation award in  National Conference on “Maize for Resource Sustainability, 235 Industrial Growth and Farmers’ Prosperity” held during February 23-25, 2022 at MPUAT, Udaipur.

➔ Dr.A.Vijay Bhaskar, Senior Scientist (Plant Pathology) received Best oral presentation award in  National Conference on “Maize for Resource Sustainability, 235 Industrial Growth and Farmers’ Prosperity” held during February 23-25, 2022 at MPUAT, Udaipur.

➔ The AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) – Main Centre received the First Prize in the Best Stall category at the 5th International Agronomy Congress, organized by the Indian Society of Agronomy, New Delhi.

➔ The AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) was declared the Best Centre under the On-Station: Main Centre category of the All India Coordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming Systems by ICAR–IIFSR, Modipuram.

➔ AICRP on Rice, RARS, Warangal was declared as Excellent Centre based on the QRT report of ICAR-IIRR and AICRIP 2012-2020.

➔ Sri K. Rajashekar, Scientist (Ento.) received Young Scientist Award on 03.09.2020 from the Society of Agricultural Research and Social Development, New Delhi.

➔ Dr.V. Thirumala Rao, Senior Scientist (Breeding) received Distinguished Scientist award from Society for scientific development in Agriculture and technology during International conference on Global Research Intiatives for Sustainable Agriculture & Allied science (GRISAS-2019) held at National Academy of Agriculture Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad.

➔ Dr. C. Sudhakar, Principal Scientist (Agronomy), received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 5th Annual Congress on Plant and Soil Sciences – 2019, held from February 28 to March 2, 2019, in London, United Kingdom.

➔ The AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) was declared the Best Centre under the On-Farm Research Category by ICAR–IIFSR, Modipuram.

➔ Dr.M. Goverdhan, Principal Scientist and Head, AICRP on IFS received Best oral paper presentation award from ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram.

➔ AICRP on Best Weed Management Centre Award 2017-18 was bestowed on AICRP on Weed Management, PJTSAU, Hyderabad in recognition of outstanding contributions made by the centre in the field weed science under All India Research Project on Weed Management. This award was conferred by ICAR – Directorate of Weed Research on the occasion ‘XXV Annual Review Meeting of AICRP on Weed Management’ organized at GBPUAT, Panthnagar on 07 June, 2018.

➔ AICRP on Forage Crops and Utilization, Rajendranagar has been received “Best performing centre award” during National Group Meet, Rabi 2018-19 held at CCSHAU, Hissar, Haryana on 07.09.2018.

➔ Dr. V. Venkanna, Senior Scientist (Plant Breeding), received the Young Scientist Award at the National Conference on Doubling Farmers’ Income for Sustainable and Harmonious Agriculture (DISHA–2017) held at SVVU, Tirupati.

➔ AICRP Scheme on development of rice varieties resistant to gall midge operating at RARS, Warangal received best centre award in AICRP Entomology for the year 2016. The award was conferred at 52nd Annual Rice Group meeting held at Assam Agricultural University at Jorhat from 8th – 11th April, 2017.

➔ Maize Research Centre, Rajendranagar has been honoured with the following ICAR-IIMR awards on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of AICRIP on Maize at 60th Annual Maize Workshop held at MPUAT, Udaipur during 2-4 April, 2017.
