World Water day-2026 celebrations at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 23.03.2026.

The World Water Day, 2026 with the theme “Water and Gender” was celebrated at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 23.03.2026. The Associate Dean in his inaugural address expressed that billion people worldwide still lack access to safe drinking water and called for collective action towards sustainable water management. The College OISA, Dr. G. Manjulatha, Professor (Agronomy), emphasized the women’s leadership in water solutions. The students Mr. Raju, Ms. Madhuha and Mr. T. Aditya of 2nd year B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. have also reiterated that this day serves as a critical reminder that water is a finite resource requiring collective action to protect and conserve. The programme saw active participation from teaching faculty including Dr. M. Sunil Kumar, G. Anil Kumar, and Dr. Sindhu, non‑teaching staff, and students of 2nd and 3rd year.
