TRVK, Siddipet - Rythu Sadassu cum Agriculture Exhibition conducted at Kangal , Siddipet (D) on 23.03.2026.

As per the instructions of University, the RAWEP-2025-26 batch students studying final year B.Sc (Ag), BJR Agricultural College, Jillela, Sircilla attached to TRVK, Siddipet. As a part of RAWE Programme students conducted Rythu Sadassu cum Agricultural Exhibition at Kangal (V). Thoguta (M), Siddipet District in collaboration with TRVK & ARS, Tornala on 23.03.2026. Dr. K. B. Suneetha Devi, AD, BJR, Agricutural college, Jillela, Sircilla has graced the Rythu Sadassu, inaugurated the Exhibition stall and visited the models prepared by the students and appreciated their efforts. Students displayed and explained the concepts, themes in brief along with model and supporting display chart. The students arranged about 4 stalls as a part of the Agricultural exhibition which includes 8 models on Mushroom cultivation, Organic farming, Sericulture, Smart farming, Vermicomposting, Soil sample collection methods, Polyhouse, and Shade net techniques. After the exhibition, Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator, TRVK, Siddipet welcomed the guests on to the Dais and programme started by lightening of lamp followed by University Song. Further, Dr. K. B. Suneetha Devi, AD, BJR, Agricutural college, Jillela, Sircilla explained about the aim and importance of RAWEP and brief activities done by RAWEP students to the dignitaries and farmers. Students from different villages shared their experience about the RAWEP and few host farmers expressed that the programme is very helpful to the villages also as this increases the practical knowledge and continuous field visits. Later Dr. G. Santhosh Kumar, Scientist & Head, ARS, Tornala advised farmers to cultivate drought-resistant crops and use high-quality university seeds. Later, Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator & Scientist, TRVK, Siddipet explained about the varieties of paddy, red gram, and green gram seeds available at the Agricultural Research Station, Tornala. She also elaborated on common pests and diseases affecting various crops and suggested appropriate control measures. Later, various questions were raised by the farmers and scientist clarified doubts, Dr. Tabassum Fatima encouraged farmers to adopt organic farming practices. In this programme, Agriculture Department officials MAO-Sri. Mohan and AEO- Rajesh, Kangal Sarpanch Pitla Sattaiah, Upa sarpanch Prashanth, Panchayat Secretary Praveen Goud, along with 150 farmers from Thoguta, Siddipet Rural, and Dubbaka mandals participated in Rythu Sadassu.
