TRVK, Siddipet - Rythu Sadassu cum Agriculture Exhibition conducted at Gangapur (V) on 18.03.2026

As per the instructions of University, the RAWEP-2025-26 batch students studying final year B.SC. (Hons.), MJPTBCWR Agricultural College for Women, Karimnagar attached to TRVK, Siddipet. As a part of RAWE Programme students conducted Rythu Sadassu cum Agricultural Exhibition at Gangapur (V), Chinnakodur (M), Siddipet District on 18.03.2026 in collaboration with TRVK, SIddipet. Smt. Padma, ADA, Siddipet has graced the Rythu Sadassu, inaugurated the Exhibition stall and visited the models prepared by the students and appreciated their efforts. Students displayed and explained the concepts, themes in brief along with model and supporting display chart. The students arranged about 6 stalls as a part of the Agriculture exhibition which includes 12 models on Vertebrate pest management, Paddy crop residue management, Honeybees, Natural farming, Bio gas plant, Soil sampling procedure, Precision agriculture, IPM in Paddy, Sericulture, Hydroponics, different composing methods, HDPS cotton system, Integrated farming system, raising of green manure and green leafy manures, problematic soils and their amelioration, Organic farming, Sericulture, Precautions in pesticide spraying. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator, TRVK, Siddipet welcomed the guests on to the Dais and programme started by lightening of lamp followed by University Song. Later Further, MIPTBCWR Agricultural College A.D. Narasimha Reddy stated that students gained practical knowledge by actively engaging with farmers and participating in agricultural activities, Smt. Y. Padma, ADA, Siddipet division advised farmers to use quality seeds to achieve better yields, Dr. Ch. Pallavi explained about the availability of paddy, red gram, and green gram seed varieties at Thornala Agricultural Research Station. She also created awareness among farmers about pests and diseases affecting various crops and the methods to control them. Later, various questions were raised by the farmers and scientist clarified doubts. In this programme, Agriculture Department officials MAO-Sri. Jayanth kumar and AEOs- Nampally Srikanth, Varun, Jameel, Sarpanches Gundelli Bhavani Venu (Gangapur), Satyalakshmi Yadayya (Machapur), and Kumbala Nagesh Reddy (Ibrahimpur) along with 100 farmers participated in Rythu Sadassu.
