TRVK, Siddipet organized exposure visit of RAWEP students to protected cultivation at Ankshapur (V), Nangunur (M) & TGOILFED Oilpalm factory at Narmetta (V), Nangunur (M) on 18.09.2025. Farmer Sri. Devulapally Venkatesh had explained about Poly house, investment is high, the benefits of controlled climate for year-round cultivation, increased yields, higher quality produce, reduced pest issues, and minimized water and fertilizer. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator, TRVK, Siddipet briefed about poly house for students to observe and learn about protected cultivation techniques, such as growing high-value crops in controlled environments like poly houses. These visits provide practical training on poly house management, demonstrate modern farming practices that use less water and pesticides, and facilitate the exchange of information with experts and successful farmers by the students. After that she explained about exposure visits to TGOILFED oil farm factory, seeing them as opportunities for firsthand learning, technology adoption, and practical insights into profitable farming techniques, although some farmers also share challenges like stray animals and the need for better pest management solutions during interactive sessions with the students. These visits provide exposure to successful models, encourage knowledge sharing, and can lead to increased productivity and better livelihoods for farmers. In this programme, 27 No. RAWEP students from BJR, Agricultural College, Siricilla, 05 No. of farmers have participated.
