Swachhata Hi Seva initiative: Campus Clean-Up Drive and Green Initiative conducted on 20-09-2025 at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva initiative, a campus clean-up drive was conducted at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet in the college premises, followed by the installation of dustbins as part of a green initiative in the college premises and hostel areas organized by NSS POs along with green club of college. Associate Dean Dr. J. Hemantha Kumar addressed the gathering, appreciated the students for their dedication towards cleanliness activities, and encouraged them to continue their efforts in maintaining a clean and green campus. NSS PO’s D. Sravanthi, P. Jhansi Rani and Dr. Ravi Kumar mention about this year’s theme is “Swachhotsav,” which beautifully blends the joy of festive celebrations with the shared responsibility of cleanliness. The campaign continues to be a key component of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Clean India Mission), encouraging collective efforts towards a cleaner and healthier India. Green club incharge Dr. P. Neelima, faculty members Dr. Naganjali and Dr. Ramprasad motivated the students and non-teaching staff also actively participated in the programme, made it a collective effort towards environmental sustainability.
