Constitution Day, also known as “Samvidhan Diwas,” was celebrated at AGC, Palem on 26th November, 2025 to mark the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The programme was organized by the NSS Programme Officers Smt. V. Sri Ramya and Smt. N. Navatha with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.The event commenced with a welcome note bySmt. V. Sri Ramya, later Associate Dean, Dr. B. Pushpavathi offered floral tributes along with the teaching, non-teaching staff, students and workers of the college. Followed by the reading of the Preamble by all attendees, reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values. Three students delivered insightful speeches highlighting the significance of the Indian Constitution, the contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, and the responsibilities of citizens in upholding democratic principles. The Associate Dean addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of understanding fundamental rights and duties to build a responsible and harmonious society. She encouraged students to actively participate in nation-building activities and respect the constitutional principles that protect our diversity and unity. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by NSS volunteers, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty, and participants for making the event meaningful. The celebration inspired patriotism and strengthened constitutional awareness among the students.
