Rythu Nestham Live video conference 86th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 17-03-2026 from 9.30 AM to 11-45 AM. Chief guest of the programme Sri. Tummala Nageshwara Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture in his introductory remarks stressed upon the need of adoption of natural Farming by the farmers to make chemical free cultivation. The programme started with sharing of experiences by progressive farmer Sri.Ch.Rama Rao, Koyachalaka (V), Raghunathapalem (M), Khammam District on Natural Farming, value addition and profitability he gained. Live from field Dr.T.Kiran Babu Scientist (Plant Pathology) and Drone Academy In-charge shared about advantages of drone technology and precautions to be taken up while handling drones for spray application of agricultural chemicals. Later in the session Dr. A.Madhavi, Principal Scientist and Head, Soil Health Management Centre, explained how to understand soil health card [SHC] details and management of fertilizers to the crops based on the SHC report. Interaction session of farmers with team of Scientists led by Dr.M. Balram, Director of Research. The programme was presided by Sri. K Surendra Mohan IAS, Secretary [Agril ] and.the programme , attended by Prof.Aldas Janaiah, Vice Chancellor PJTAU, Dr. B. Gopi , IAS, Director of Agriculture, Sri Anvesh Reddy, Chairman, TGSDC , Dr. M.Sreenivasulu Principal Scientist (Agril. Extension) & Coordinator, Electronic Wing and officials from Directorate of Agriculture, officials of Agri and allied departments and about 100,000 farmers from 1582 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
