Rythu Nestham Live video conference Programme Episode-85 Date: 10-03-2026

Rythu Nestham Live video conference 85th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 10-03-2026 from 10 AM to 11-45 AM. The programme started with sharing of experiences by progressive farmer Sri.M.Venkata Reddy, Khammam District on Rice intercropping with Oil Palm. Dr.Mahesh Reddy MD,One Hospital created awareness on effects of Paraquat herbicide on human health. Sri.M. Prasad GM,TREDCO informed farmers about PM KUSUM project guidelines and advantages. Later Experts of Rice Research Unit Dr.Sridhar Siddi , Dr.Kiran Babu and Dr.Aruna Sri explaned about Rabi Rice crop management i.e Suphide Injury, Zn Deficiency, Stem rot ,Neck Blast and Stem borer control measures. The programme was presided by Dr. B. Gopi, Director of Agriculture, Dr. M.Sreenivasulu Principal Scientist (Agril.Extension) & Coordinator, Electronic Wing and officials from Directorate of Agriculture, officials of Agri and allied departments and about 39,000 farmers from 1582 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
