Rythu Nestham Live video conference Programme Episode-83 Date: 17-02-2026

Rythu Nestham Live video conferencing of 83rd episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 17-02-2026 from 10 AM to 12-15 AM . The programme started with Inspirational success story of organic vegetable farmer Sri.S.Naresh from Sirpur Village, Mallapur mandal and Jagtiyala district who shared his success in cultivating water melon as alternative crop to rice during summer. Followed by Dr.K.Nagaraju, Asst.Professor, College of Horticulture, Rajendranagar, explained measure to be followed during cultivation of vegetables during summer months. Later Dr.G.Venkat Reddy Principal Scientist (Entomology), RARS, Warangal and Dr.V. Ramya Scientist (Pl Pathology), RARS Warangal interacting with the farmers explained precautionary measures to be followed in various crops during summer season. The programme was presided by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu Principal Scientist (Agril.Extension) & Coordinator, and attended by Dr.J.S.Sudha Rani, Sr. Scientist (Agro), Electronic wing and officials from Directorate of Agriculture, officials of Agri and allied departments and about 40,000 farmers from 1582 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
