Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-67 Date: 19.08.2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing of 67th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 19-08-2025 from 10 AM to 12-10 AM. The programme started with the talk on prevailing weather conditions and forecast for upcoming week by Dr. Nagaratna, Scientist, IMD Hyderabad. Dr. Suchithra Principal Scientist ( Horticulture) & Head FRS, SKLTGHU gave a extempore presentation on management of old mango orchards and pruning of orchards. Dr. C. Sudhakar Principal Scientist (Agronomy), ARS Tandur, explained about drone technology in Agriculture and ongoing training Programme and pilot licensing at PJTAU. A progressive farmer D. Srinivas from Bomras pet mandal and Sri Satish Rayakal village, Narayankhed mandal, Sangareddy district, shared about their experience in operating drone for spraying agricultural chemicals. Dr.P.Leela Rani Principal Scientist & Head ACRC, presented precautions to be followed in major field crops affected with heavy rains. Dr. N.Rama Gopala Verma Principal Scientist (Entomology) & Programme Coordinator, KVK Adilabad and Dr.J. Hemanth Kumar, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Aswaraopeta, PJTAU interacted with Farmers and clarified the doubts on P.P measures for present standing crops. Dr. M. Yakadri Director of Extension, PJTAU and Dr. B. Gopi, Director of Agriculture graced the occasion, The programme attended by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] & Coordinator, Electronic Wing along with team and virtually by Officials of Department of Agriculture, Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 45,000 farmers from 1578 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
