Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-60 Date: 02.07.2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing of 60th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 02-07-2025 from 10 AM to 11.30 AM. The programme started with an extempore presentation by Dr. D.Seshibushan, Principal Scientist [Breeding] RARS, Palem. He briefed the farmers on Jowar, Ragi and Bajra hybrids and varieties suitable and management practices for ensuing Kharif. Dr.D.Sreelatha Associate Director of Research[ NTZ] Jagtial explained the gain with good management practices especially with optimizing the use of urea. Later Dr.VVV.Amruth Kumar Professor , Dept. of Veterinary Medicine, College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar ,Hyderabad gave an comprehensive coverage over infectious diseases forecasted in rainy season and their preventive measures in Sheep. Sri.D.Satyanna Goud , a progressive farmer of Ponnakal village, Addakal Mandal Mahabubnagar Dist shared about his success with high yielding Ragi variety cultivation provided by RARS Palem. The programme was attended by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] & Coordinator, Electronic Wing. The programme was attended virtually by Officials of Department of Agriculture from Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 36,000 farmers from 1566 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
