Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 51st episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 14-4-2025 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. The programme started with the topic on Value Addition to the Millet crops by Dr. B.Anila Kumari, Asst. Professor (Food and Nutrition), Millet processing and Incubation centre, Rajendranagar. followed by Dr. R.Preetham Goud, Sr. Scientist (Agro), Vegetable Research Station, SKLTHU, Rajendranagar presentation on Summer Vegetables Management. Later Interaction On Chilli Crop plant protection with Farmers-Live from Thalada village, Khammam District by Dr. J.Hemanth kumar, Associate Dean, Agriculture College, Aswaraopet, Bhadradri District. A slogan on Stop Crops Stubble Burning was explained Dr.R.Uma Reddy, ADR, RARS Warangal &Sri. Devendar a Progressive farmers shared his experiences on crop residue mnagement. Prof. Aldas Janaiah, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, PJTAU explained on Quality Seed at Every Village programme by PJTAU to be inaugurated on June 2nd 2025. At the end the questions from farmers answered by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor , Director of Agriculture and experts. The programme was graced by the presence of Sri. T. Nageshwara Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Dr. B. Gopi Director of Agriculture and Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] Electronic Wing and staff Electronic Wing, Officials of Department of Agriculture from Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 16,000 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
