Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Palem organized Pre Kharif Campaign as a part of Rythu Mungitlo Shastravethalu programme at Chennapuraopally village, Peddakothapally Mandal, Nagarkurnool District on 13.05.2025. KVK staff interacted with farmers & focused on awareness about reducing use of urea, fertilisers and pesticides, as well as promoting crop diversification and water conservation. Mr.K.Ramakrishna, SMS(CP), KVK, Palem briefed about usage of urea in major crops, water saving technologies and In situ moisture conservation techniques. Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS(Horti.), KVK, Palem explained about crop diversification with horticultural crops for higher profits and seed production of quality seeds. Dr. B. Rajashekar, SMS(Extension), KVK, Palem advised about importance of Rythu Mungitlo Shastravethalu Programme and keeping of seed & chemical bill receipts for security compensation. A total of 82 farmers, KVK staff, department of agriculture staff, students were participated.
