KVK,Nizamabad (Rudrur) Scientists conducted Field Visit Cum Diagnostic Field visit in Soybean crop at Hegdoli Village on 31.07.2025

KVK, Nizamabad (Rudur) scientists conducted Field visit in Soybean crop at Hegdoli village, Pothangal mandal on 31.07.2025. As a part of the technical programme on Management of Defoliators and Sucking pests control in Soybean crop, Sri.P.Vijay Kumar, SMS (Plant Protection) visited OFT farmers fields in which the crop is at vegetative stage with 25-30 DAS and observed Spodoptera incidence below ETL and distributed need based chemical inputs as a part of treatment imposition to OFT farmers. Later, Diagnostic field visit was conducted in Soybean crop in which Sri.P.Vijay Kumar, SMS (Plant protection) along with Dr.K.Indudhar Reddy, SMS (Crop Production) and Dr.M.Swetha, SMS (Agril. Extension) interacted with the farmers regarding varieties cultivated, pests and diseases frequently damaging in that particular area,etc. During the visit, Spodoptera incidence was noticed and advised for spraying with Emamectin benzoate @ 0.4 g/lit or Novaluron @ 1 ml/lit or Chlorantraniliprole @ 0.3 ml/lit of water during morning or evening hours.
