The programme was graced by Dr. M. Yakadri, Director of Extension (PJTAU), Hyderabad, as the Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of natural farming, crop diversification, integrated farming systems, and nano fertilizers for sustainable agriculture and soil health management. He also emphasized the significance of the RAWEP programme and its role in enhancing practical knowledge and skills among agricultural graduates. Dr. J. Hemanth Kumar, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Aswaraopet, stressed the importance of high-density cotton cultivation and effective pest and disease management in crops such as Oil palm, Chilli, Maize, Rice, and various Horticultural crops. Dr. T. Bharath, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Bhadradri Kothagudem, explained the various activities and initiatives undertaken by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra for the benefit of the farming community in the district. During the programme multiple agricultural exhibition stalls were arranged showcasing innovative technologies and practices. Additionally, 400 one-month-old poultry chicks were distributed under the Tribal Sub Plan, along with knapsack sprayers and tarpaulins under the SC Sub Plan. The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Sri Shoban Babu, Assistant Director of Agriculture (Technical), Sri Venkateswarlu, District Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Officer Sri Intiyaz Ahmed, District Fisheries Officer, Smt. E. Pravallika, Sarpanch Sri Mande Veera Hanumanth Rao, PACS Chairman, Sri K. Shankarrao, Akashvani Radio Station Dr. Naganjali, Associate Professor; Dr. Sirisha, Assistant Professor; Dr. Hema Sarat Chandra, SMS (Extension) and Sri B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture). A total of 350 farmers, rural youth, entrepreneurs, along with representatives from tractor and seed companies, actively participated in the programme.
