Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized an awareness programme on fermented organic manure in coordination with Fertilizer and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. (FACT) at Rythu Vedika, Jaganadhapuram Cluster, Mulakalapally, Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 11.03.2026. During the programme, Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator explained the importance of fermented organic manure for improving soil health and sustainable agriculture. He also delivered a lecture under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) on the importance of suitable paddy varieties, natural farming, integrated farming system, nano fertilizers and climate-resilient agricultural technologies for farmers. Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, SMS (Extension), briefed the participants about the formation and importance of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and market-led extension for improving farmers’ income. Sri. B. Shiva, SMS(Horticulture), explained Integrated Crop Management practices in mango, oil palm, and vegetable crops. The programme was attended by Sri. S. Veera Bhadradro, Chairman ATMA, Sri. Ravikumar, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Sri. Rammohan, General Manager, FACT, Sri. Arunkumar, Agriculture Officer, AEOs, village Sarpanches, and about 100 farmers from the cluster.
