The 11th International Yoga Day was organized on 21st June 2025 in the Agricultural College, Warangal with active participation of students along with the teaching staff. A certified yoga instructor C.G. Rithu was invited to lead the session and guide participants through various asanas and importance of meditation. Around 100 students and faculty members took part in the event. The programme began with a motivational speech by Dr. A.Venkat Reddy, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Warangal by briefing the importance of Yoga. He also stressed that regular yoga practice promotes a balanced development of mental, physical and intellectual health which recharge the body with positive energy. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal has shared the real-time examples among the students on importance of Yoga. He also shared how in the olden days, people followed a disciplined lifestyle that began with early morning yoga and meditation, leading to longer and healthier lives. He compared it with the modern lifestyle and encouraged students to adopt traditional practices for long-term well-being. The session concluded with a group meditation and a pledge to incorporate yoga into daily life.
