KVK, Palem Scientists participated in Inauguration of DAESI Programme for Input dealers & Training on “IPDM practices in major crops” at KVK, Palem on 15.03.2025.

KVK, Palem in collaboration with Department of Agriculture inaugurated the DAESI Programme, 2024-25 for Input dealers of Nagarkurnool District & given Training on “IPDM practices in major crops” at KVK, Palem (V), Bijinepally (M), Nagarkurnool (D) on 15.03.2025. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme coordinator addressed the input dealers that input dealers play key role in directing the farmers to choose right chemicals. It is a good opportunity to enrich their knowledge in order to render their right services to the farming community. All the officials from the Department of Agriculture made their remarks. In continuation to the above programme, Dr. O. Shaila, SMS (Plant protection) gave lecture on the following topics. 1.Importance of management of pests and diseases in Agriculture. 2.Differences between beneficial & harmful insects. 3. IPDM practices in major crops of Nagarkurnool district. 4. Identification of pests and diseases symptoms under field conditions. In this programme Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme coordinator, Sri. M. Chandra Shekar, District Agril. Officer, Sri. Vasu, ADA, Nagarkurnool dist., Sri. Poorna chandra Reddy, ADA (Technical), Dr. O. Shaila, SMS (Plant protection), Sri. Krishnayya, DAESI Programme facilitator and 40 input dealers a Total of 47 members were participated.
