Clean and Green programme as part of Praja Palana - Pragathi Pranalika at BJR Agricultural College, Sircillaon 9th and 10th March, 2026

A Clean and Green Programme was organized at Babu Jagjivan Ram Agricultural College, Sircilla, under the Praja Palana - Pragathi Pranalika Programme from 9th and 10th March, 2026. The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and greenery within the college campus. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Associate Dean and with the active participation of students, along with the support of teaching and non-teaching staff. On these two days, students actively participated in various cleanliness and environmental activities around the College premises. The activities included removal of waste materials, sweeping of surroundings, collection of plastic and other non-biodegradable waste, and cleaning of pathways and open spaces. Students also contributed to improving the aesthetic appearance of the campus by ensuring proper disposal of waste and maintaining cleanliness. Faculty members supervised the activities and guided the students on the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. The programme helped in creating awareness among students about environmental responsibility and encouraged them to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
