Anti ragging day conducted at Agricultural College, Jagtial on 12-8-2025

As per the directions of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Anti-Ragging Day was observed on 12-8-2025 at College auditorium, Agricultural College, Jagtial. The event was held in the presence of several distinguished guests, including Sri. D. Sudhakar, [CI], Jagtial Rural and Sri. Sadakar, Sub-Inspector [SI], Jagtial Rural and Dr. P. Sujatha, Professor & Head, Associate Dean i/c and Dr. G. Kiran Reddy, Assistant Professor, OISA along with teaching and non-teaching staff and students have attended the meeting. Sri. D. Sudhakar, [CI], Jagtial Rural and Sri. Sadakar, Sub-Inspector [SI], Jagtial Rural created awareness about anti-ragging among the staff and students. He shared personal experiences, showed impactful videos and case studies, and explained the severe punishments associated with ragging. His comprehensive presentation aimed to educate and sensitize everyone about the importance of maintaining a ragging-free environment. The event was a significant step towards fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere on campus, reinforcing the institution's commitment to eradicating ragging in all forms.
